Jennifer J. Davagian - Chairman

Ms. Davagian has 20+ years experience assembling teams of individuals to build businesses from conception to commercialization. As an IBD patient, Jennifer knows the daily struggles of patients and compliance decisions facing healthcare outcomes. As a business woman in the area of Science, Technology and Manufacturing, she has a keen understanding of new medical technology development, regulatory submissions and GMP compliance, in addition to new product commercial execution. Ms. Davagian teaches at Boston University School of Management on a variety of business topics. She has written for both the National Institute of Health and the Food and Drug Administration.

Ernest H. Pomerantz - Director

Mr. Pomerantz is Chairman of StoneWater Capital LLC. He was most recently a managing director of MESA Partners, LLC. Previously, Mr. Pomerantz was a managing director of Warburg Pincus for 20 years, working in a range of industries including automotive, energy, financial services, retail, and media. Prior to this, Mr. Pomerantz was a public market equities portfolio manager and securities analyst at both Warburg Pincus and Kuhn Loeb for 11 years after serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.

Henry Kay - Director

Mr. Kay retired from Boston Scientific in 2006, where he was Group Vice President of New Market Development / Strategic Planning, Endosurgery Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC). Prior to joining BSC, Henry was based in the UK for five years as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Allergan Europe, a global eye care company. Mr. Kay has 35 years of experience in the medical industry in roles which include R&D, International Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Strategic Planning for major pharmaceutical companies, including Schering-Plough, American Home Products, Sterling Drug and Allergan.

James Bartlett - Director

With the exception of a five-year period in the early 1980’s when he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Acme Cleveland Corporation (NYSE), Mr. Bartlett’s career has mainly been in entrepreneurial finance and venture capital. In 1984 he helped found Primus Venture Partners, a Cleveland-based venture capital firm, and subsequently served as one of the firm’s Managing Partners for twenty years and continues as an investor in and advisor to Primus. He also served on the Small Business Advisory Council of the Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank and more than two dozen boards of directors, including four NYSE companies.

John S. Davagian II - Director

Mr. Davagian is a founding partner of Davagian Grillo & Semple LLP. Although having attended Boston University School of Law and passing the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 1969, John Davagian spent the first twenty-eight years of his professional career as a contractor. As vice president and then president of Sutton Corporation, a heavy construction company, Mr. Davagian managed the closely held family business. Sutton specialized in building bridges, piers, and wharfs as a general contractor for public awarding authorities in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, as well as for the General Services Administration, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Department of the Navy. The company also acted as a subcontractor to numerous general contractors for the installation of all types of deep foundations, earth support systems, and pile foundations for both public and private owners across New England.

Dr. Raj Devarajan - Medical Advisor

Dr. Devarajan is board certified in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry. He has trained at Harvard, Yale and Tufts Universities. Dr. Devarajan is the managing partner and founder of Middlesex Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Center. He has served as President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Gastroenterology at Emerson Hospital and Nashoba Valley Medical Center. Dr. Devarajan has introduced advanced therapeutic procedures at both hospitals and is consultant to several gastroenterology focused companies including Allergan and Boston Scientific.
